So there ya have it, one of my first cracks at the drugstores. Not bad. We got the pampers because my sister has a few friends who are preggers and we are going to try our luck with making a diaper cake :) Other than that, I think we did good. I might post walgreens deals on here in a few. I also did that drug store yesterday. This was a whole lot easier for me to do, since walgreens makes you do things so wierd! But more on that topic later! :)

Kroger, March Madness

Many items today.. well kinda. I bought:
- 5 things of Kraft of cheese - 1.99 each with a 1.00 off 2, I got them for 1.49 each. Orginally $3.29
- 1 package of boutili tortloni - 3.89, I got it for free, thanks to the last game at kroger.com
- 4 things of scotch brite scrubing pads - 2.00 each with a 1.00 off 2, I got them for 1.50 each. Orginally $3.49
- Minute Maid OJ - only kind we/Kenneth likes to drink at 2.99
- little thing of milk - .89, we don't really drink that much so I figured we could try this size.
- a luna bar - 1.00, originally 1.39, work good for breakfast.
- reynolds baking cups - 2.49, not on sale, but had a 1.00 off coupon, so I decided to pick them up.
- lays potato chips - 1.99, 55 cent off coupon so 1.44 each. Orginally 2.99.

Now for the mega deal items: I did 3o types of deals so I got 15 dollars off the total. 50 cents already taken off each item.
- 2 things of chips ahoy - 1.99 each with a 1.00 off 2, I got them for 1.49 each. Orginally 3.28
- 2 things of ritz snack packs - 1.99 each with a 1.00 off 2, same senario.
- 2 things of ritz cheese and peanut butter - 1.99 each with a 1.00 off 2.. same senario.
- 7 things of smart water - 49 cents each. orginally 1.39
- 3 things of axe shampoo - 3.99 each. orginally 5.29. Very expensive still, but these hardly drop this low.
- 2 things of axe shower gel - 2.99 each. Orginally 3.64. Once again kinda expensive, but hardly low.
- 1 A-1 steak sauce - 2.49 with a 1.00 coupon makes it 1.49. Orginally 4.75
- 2 things of mini receses - 1.99 each with a 2.00 off 2 makes it .99 cents each!!! Orginally 3.29
- 2 things of york mints - 1.99 each.. same senario as above..
- 2 things of receses pieces - 1.99 each.. same senario as above..
- 4 things of powerade - 50 cents each.. orginally 1.00. I needed a few more cheap items.
- 1 things of crystal light - 1.99, orginally 2.69. I just wanted to try these.

So all in all I spent 70 dollars and saved 60.00.. I think. I kinda screwed up and got only 29 items for the mega deal so I had to have them fix that at customer service.
But another good thing about this trip is the amount I saved in coupons. 16.55!!!

Introduction

This is going to be my site where I post my coupon savings. I will post pictures of the items I purchase, along with the prices (before and after coupons). I will probably update this one day a week, as I tend to do most of my grocery shopping on Saturday. So look for the posts on Saturday or Sunday. I keep track of it all through a spreadsheet, but I figured pictures and posts would be a cool idea also.

Also, I clip the coupons that I know we will use. I don't believe in taking or stocking up on things that are pointless to us. But if its something that we love, and its a good deal, I'm gonna stock up! :) Just ask Kenneth about the 20 Chunky cans of soup we got for 50 cents each after BOGO and coupons :) Or the 10 bottles of Propel water for 35 cents total!

So I thought this was a good start. So for now I'm leaving you with this. Enjoy and check back on Saturday for my grocery trip. It will be a small one since we are going to FL next week.
